Your birthday, 2025

I have been planning on what to do for your birthday for MONTHS. I got you Tux (which surprisingly looks so much like you), and I prepared a little box for you too.

I found a blue bookmark with a sheep on it. I got you a shit ton of stickers, 2 penguin pins, a blue notebook that has a different design for each page... I also found a pretty stone to give you, just like how penguins give a pretty stone to their mate to "marry" them. There was eternal banana, more stickers, a poem...

...And I put 21 paper stars in it for your 21st birthday!

I don't know if the rest of your day went well but I hope you were happy while you were with me. :)

We couldn't really make time for each other during the Ramadan but this one was a fun date regardless.

I helped you hold a violin and play One by Metallica on the cello.

And I also played the violin for you for the first time!

We went to the hospital together for the skin tag (that was) on my nose. I still have no idea why they have to give a date for a very simple procedure. Anyway, when we arrived at the lab for my bloodwork nurses asked us how old we were with a MORTIFIED look on their faces. And then you tried to hold my hand while they got my blood because I had told you that I'm afraid of needles. And I screamed "ÇEK ELİNİ BUĞRA" at you. Every day is a fun day with you my love. Even if we are at a hospital. We also saw THIS abomination and I immediately sent it to my friend in class. We still make fun of him at school for it.

This was a very special day for both of us. It's been a whole year since we have met.

A. Whole. Year.

I still can't believe how the time passed by so quickly.

We met at Büyükçekmece once again, at a fairly early hour this time, to spend lots of time with each other. We sat on a bench by the shore after getting some snacks. The cashier lady asked us "Aaaa kardeş misiniz siz?" and I said "İnşallah değilizdir." after she insisted on it. You gave me the ender dragon mini figure and the OMORI KEYCHAIN AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

Anyway, we had the whole day and many more cute pictures ahead of us.

We walked down to the beach to get something to eat. And then you noticed that I had started overheating. So you tied my hair up. It was the first time in like, 10 years, that I had my hair tied in a ponytail.

To me, this was the best part of the day. I was so tired from all the walking and we decided to get some coffee. That was the most hazelnut tasting hazelnut latte I ever had. And yours was vanilla flavored. It was very nice just being in your arms. Kissing your vanilla latte flavored lips...

We met up to watch the Minecraft movie, I had bought the tickets beforehand so we were just waiting for the movie at the toys shop. We saw this abomination of a Polly Pocket doll. Everything was perfect. Until...

...the earthquake hit. You went back home and I went back inside to get my money back. I just left the city, but you didn't have that luxury. I was so worried about you. Thank God nothing happened.

As my cousins and aunt-in-law also joined us because of the earthquake, my parents decided to go out for a picnic. It was nice but I was thinking to myself all the time, wishing that you were there with me.

Our first-date anniversary, and our first time going to the cinema together. We watched Star Wars 3: Revenge of the Sith together, for it was in cinemas again for its 20th anniversary. Turns out, 20 years ago, my mom and dad also went to this movie.

I loved bickering about the movie like a married old couple with you. We also got couple seats and everything was just perfect. I want to go to more movies with you... If possible :'D

We got ourselves some coffee and headed straight to the seaside. I still have no idea how I managed to get a picture where both of us have our eyes closed.

I'm really thankful for you. For anything you do, and for anything that you will do in the future. I'm glad we met, my love.
